We are aliens, you're right. God said we are in this world but not of it. He changes us into His adopted children and tells us we belong to Him, our Father in Heaven. We do not see Him with our physical eyes, but like the wind, He is visible to us by what He does in our lives. He speaks in a voice we cannot hear audibly, but His whisper is recognized immediately deep within our soul. He gives us unspeakable powers through His Holy Spirit and sends us throughout the world to invade and overtake the unbelievers with His love. We are compelled to capture humans in His love and to bring them to Him. So, yes, "aliens" is a good description of the Christians.

I'll answer this from my Jewish perspective, but it could apply to good Christians, too.
As I got deeper into the mysteries of the Torah, I found a spiritual world that coexists with the physical world. Not in the sense of ghosts, but in the sense that it is possible to affect physical things through the spiritual world.
Those that have discovered this understand. To those who haven't, we must seem like aliens.

Jesus said that people would mock us and ridicule us. He was right.
We do not "look at an empty sky" when we pray. We do not point to the sky.
I find, sadly, that you are disrespectful and closed-minded.
Although you claim to be accepting and open-minded, you are not.

i have never prayed at the sky .. i have never pointed to the sky either ... i believe you are mixing christians with catholics ... they are 2 whole different religions ! catholics worship mary ... christians worship Jesus and we believe that there is no mediator between God and man ... eliminating confession booths and priests ... the Bible was written by commen men who heard from God and wrote what He told them to write ... and you make us sound like we have no fun and we dress in white ... that is soooo wrong ... i have tons of fun ... pranks included ... i just want you to know we are normal human beings except we are on our way to heaven ...
