Salaam Alaykum, Inshallah to the grave to await awakening and judgment. May Allah SWT forgive and have mercy on my soul. The pious and righteous are guaranteed a place of
unimaginable harmony, peace, and happiness. Those who are not in favor or have committed sins as have I ..will stand to testify ....think of court., You stand before the judge and have lawyer and opportunity to lie and cover your crimes. Me nor any soul can avoid this but without any sin no matter as tiny as an atom being hidden...before The One True Judge.
An agony in a place of torment may or not be temporary...
depending on the individual..but all true believers will be raised from the grave and released from torment into Jannah.
There is more accountability in Islam than Christianity...people think we believe we face paradise when we die. This is not true we are fully aware of the torment that awaits us. It is best to be fearful of Allah SWT for us and earn
Allah's SWT favor.
Wasalaam

There is no place of torment, and Heaven is only for the chosen ones. I will be in a state of unconsciousness until the resurrection. John 5 v 28 & 29.

Dear friend,
Hell in my opinion is Earth. So if one has done good deeds they are sure to have place in heaven. If you have done bad, the cycle starts all over again, ending you back to Earth (Hell). The cycle brings you back in different forms like reptiles, insects, animals and finally man again. Hope this helps.

How many times do I have to answer this question? Neither. Neither exists. Neither ever will exist. In fact, "Hell" was Jesus's invention. The Jews never had it. Imagine. Good ol' Joshy Christ, all peaceful, decided upon a terrible firey home for everyone who didn't believe in him.
