I'm currently studying BA (last year) & I'm in the phase of "Job Hunting". I've got a few calls from HR departments saying they've accepted me and telling me more about the nature of the work, money, etc...
Problem here is time.

I need to be at Univ at 2:00 PM (Morning tiinmings are different for the ladies, cause most of the guys work). Anyway, I get timing sometime from 8:00 - 3:00 or 9:00 - 5:00. I got many good offers but turned them down cause of the timing dilemma.

My question here : WHAT SHOULD I DO ? Should I take the next job that pops up & then go talk to the manager on my first day telling him about the Univ timings ? Then what ?
Will I end up doing extra shifts in the weekends ? or what exactly.

Please stick to my topic & dont write crap.l

Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently turned down a job offer from your company and now feel it may have been an error on my part.
I do have a high level of interest in working for your company.
The reason I hesitated to accept the offer is because I have a time related dilemma.
I need to finish my courses at the university and feel this is my first obligation. My question today is can I become a team member of your company with special time considerations until the date of my completion of school. I am quite anxious to get started and very much regret having to turn down such an impressive opportunity. I would be fine with short hours during this transition time Unless of course my time is needed on the weekends.

If you get an interview, you need to tell them up front about your time restrictions due to your classes, and when you'll graduate and won't have these restrictions any more.

If you take a job, and then on your first day tell your manager you aren't available for the hours of the job, your first day on the job is likely to be your last. No they aren't likely to just change the hours of the job to accommodate your schedule.
