Usually the only reason for doing that is so it gets back to the ex. If your ex is an ex, there is a reason for that, and usually friends are like their friends, so why would you want them.

no i don't think so at all. obviously it depends on the circumstances. was it a serious ex...and how long ago etc etc? I was seeing one of my ex's friends recently but this was an ex from about 4 years ago. We werent talking but because i started to see his friend now we are really good friends again.
