Basically my monther has advanced arthiritis and all doctors have told her that the best thding for her is surgery. But my mom is afraid of surgery and I have been looking for alternative treatments for her. So can someone tell me if this really works.

EMU Oil? If you read the blurb you will see the idea is:
Emu oil naturally contains high levels of linolenic acid
I was started on Evening Primrose Oil, taken by mouth, in March 1998 and that contains shock horror Gamma Linolenic Acid and Linolenic Acid. At first I thought 'Yeah, right like this is going to help? however kept taking it. December 1998 I got a Desk Top and the Man who came to install it I have known for years. He simple said 'I do not know what you are taking, but I have never seen you looking better!' After he left I sat back and thought: I have not been admitted to Hospital and its December? Up to this I was being admitted to Hospital twice a year due to the Rheumatoid Arthritis but not this December? In fact I have not been admitted to Hospital since! So for me daily dose of 1,000mgs Evening Primrose Oil at least 200 mgs of GLA and that is the important measurement, plus a low fat diet, keeps those red hot swollen distended joints far, far, away. However it is not a CURE! I am happy that those red hot swollen painful joints have gone, but the joints are still deteriorating, as long as they allow me a life, I am not worried. Likewise Omega Three Fish Oils are good for Arthritis, so the choice is yours, one or the other, but not both! For pain I do not think you can beat the Capsicum Cream. Good Luck.
