I feel very tearful and I don't know why. I've never had a proper good relationship with someone before and wondered, could it be because I love him? He treats me better than anyone ever has and after we have sex I just feel like crying but it's not sad tears. No horrible answers please.

Thank you to all who put helpful answers down. Those of you who posted useless, patronising answers you are of no help and only make yourselves look like idiots.

well sexual relations can be an emotional time. Hormones react after you have had an orgasm and can produce all sorts of feelings. Its a lot more common that you may think, so don't worry about it, its your emotions running wild with you, enjoy the experience and yes, you obviously have strong feelings for your partner so you are a bit overwhelmed by the whole experience, and its new to you to. Relax and don't worry about it.

That good, eh?
No, but seriously, some women get all emotional due to the hormonal charge of sex. Plus he treats you really well, which is so so nice to hear! Hardly surprising you get a bit teary, honey.
I think that this will work itself out in time, and that you really needn't worry about it.

have you ever been sexually abused before?
not to be rude- i am just asking a serious question...
do you have any kind of issues- like insecurity, self esteem, trust... things like that.
it has to be stemmed from some other source.
just having "overwhelming" sex is not the answer.. i promise!
it has to be the result of something else.. something subconscious.
try thinking of what you have dreams about?
