Robert and Angela's experience is the same as ours after our aunt's body was donated to science.... we had a 'funeral' with only her picture in the three days after she passed... then about a year later, they sent back her ashes and they were entombed in the crypt with her husband's at that time.... no service, just a few family and some tears..... very proud of her tho.... she said she hoped science would be able to tell why she lived so long even tho she had so many things wrong in her body!!... *smile*........great lady!...

The father of friend of mine donated his body, and this is what happened. They had a memorial service with family, and friends with a picture of the man. The body went directly to the research facility. They froze it until they did their research, and then cremated what was left. Then ( no lie ) they mailed the ashes to the family about a year after so they could bury them.

A young lady in my work donated her father's body to medical research. She held a wee memorial service for him a few days after he died. She was shocked when the hospital got in touch with her a year later to say that they had cremated his remains the previous week.

Most body donors have their family's consent - so I'm sure they sorted that out before the fact

Im sure they probably cremate it i mean there is nothing left of it and at least they can take it to their house and live happily knowing that their relative has helped someone else.

As far as I'm aware they just take certain parts, i.e the liver or whatever, then give the body back so to speak!

I think they just have a memorial service. I have been to one of them. It's the same when somebody is cremated.

monotheist regions are advocating generosity but they said god give you a body
it is as, it rent for you that is mean you should return it as you gate it
