The problem is not whether or not GW is true. GW is a proven fact. The earth constantantly warms and cools naturally. It seems most scientists believe this time the cycle is increasing temperature faster and will probably go higher due to pollution by man. The believe it is due to CO2 levels because they can correlate the change in CO2 concentrations with temperature changes. This is all a theory because it is impossible to prove what the temperature was 4000 years ago because we were not here and did not have thermometers. They must use estimates from samples of ice cores, tree rings, and other ways to try and estimate what the actual temp. was then.
There are a minority of scientists that do not agree with this theory. They have differing theories because they either do not agree with the data used, or in some cases they believe the data but do not agree with the logic used in coming to a conclusion.
I don't think we need to "Trust" them. I prefer to use the term, do we "Agree with" them. I trust they are all good men trying to do their best. They all have valid theories. At one time in history, the majority of scientists believed the world was flat, that the earth was formed by gravity pulling it together, that we were all going to die freezing. All those scientists were good men with valid theories.
I choose to believe them all at this point. I don't see what we have to lose by reducing pollution anywhere we can. I also think for national securty we need to get off foriegn oil as much as we can, so why not just for thar reason? More time and research will prove or disprove the theories on GW just like it has on other major natural phenomenon theories in the past.

Of course you can trust scientists - you do it every day. When you fly in an airplane, you're trusting that scientists designed it right so that it won't fall out of the sky. If you get sick and go to the doctor, you're trusting that the doctor will diagnose you right using medical science. When you turn on your computer and get on the internet, you're trusting that it will work and not explode in your face because scientists designed them right.
Every aspect of our lives is designed around trusting that science has gotten stuff right. The fact that they've gotten stuff wrong in the past doesn't mean we can't trust them, because science gets things right most of the time. If they get something wrong, eventually they'll figure it out and get it right, like with lead.
The scientists are correct about global warming. They've got loads of scientific evidence showing that they're right.

Sure ya, because this global warming causes the form of cyclone which is seen through radars and satellites...
Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation.
The global average air temperature near the Earth's surface rose 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the last 100 years. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes, "most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations" via the greenhouse effect. Natural phenomena such as solar variation combined with volcanoes probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times to 1950 and a small cooling effect from 1950 onward. These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least 30 scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries. While individual scientists have voiced disagreement with some of the main conclusions of the IPCC, the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change are in agreement with them.
Climate model projections summarized by the IPCC indicate that average global surface temperature will likely rise a further 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) during the 21st century. The range of values results from the use of differing scenarios of future greenhouse gas emissions as well as models with differing climate sensitivity. Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, warming and sea level rise are expected to continue for more than a millennium even if greenhouse gas levels are stabilized. The delay in reaching equilibrium is a result of the large heat capacity of the oceans.

The thing about science is you don't need to "trust" because the evidence is provided and peer reviewed (and the process explained so you can get your own evidence too)http://www.ipcc.ch to let you make your own mind up based on the best available information.
Unfortunatly most people would rather trust stories about hollywood lifestyles, judgemental gods and infinite growth rather than accept any evidence that the laws of biology, physics and chemisty apply to them.

Global warming is a natural cycle of the earth if the ice ages are anything to go by.
Therefore it is not caused by humans
It's just that we may have speed the cycle up a bit.

we should depend on the scientists but also use our brains but when it comes 2 global warming we must rely on them after all its our great planet and people around us also in trouble not only them themselves and with todays techonology they aren't gonna commit any mistakes

My opinion doesn't count, the fact is : we're getting hot ! Check out on the Internet or read a book by Al Gore titled The inconvenient truth; every fact in that book is scientifically proved and photos of the shrinking glaciers speak for themselves...

They definately have no gains in telling everyone that we are in deep trouble and we should take some action.
We should beleive them. Also the question itself says whole world is saying so. Then where is the question of not beleiving.
