I like number 3 as a manager myself.

I must go with #2. You were given the tasks to do. Not the others. You are also on an equal level with them in terms of the primary reason you were all hired. Therefore you shouldn't be delegating tasks as #1 states. No one likes to be told what to do unless the "teller" has real authority over the others.

Number 3 is reasonable, I suppose, but she should be asked very nicely and you need to keep on working. If she gets the idea that you are just pawning off your jobs to her, she will start to feel annoyed.

#4. You could ask the manager but she will probably go out and order the others to get to work, which will make you look like a snitch. They will resent you for running to the boss.

Unless a fellow employee is doing something reckless that may harm others, or is about the break a rule that would have devastating effects on the company, do NOT go running to a supervisor all the time. Many minor things can be over looked.

Morale is very important in a work setting. Everyone should get to know the others so that you eventually work as a team. As a team member, the others would probably notice your added load and offer to help you...............

#3!! Always! You're not in a position to delegate so #1 is out. # 2 shows that you might be unwilling to ask for help or work with others. And #4 is out because you want to show management that you can accomplish things without having to run to them for help. You need to use your other resources aka other associates! But you dont wanna "pass the buck" meaning giving them your work when you have time to do it yourself.

I would think number 3 is acceptable.... Even if you were to ask another associate for help in a nice manner, the fact of the matter is that it is your duty and responsibility. Mangers like an employee who takes accountability and pride in what they are doing. They like to see if you can handle it.
