does anyone have any good ideas? I'm sick of the animal posters already... I dont have a specific theme I like, anything is fine as long as it sounds cool

3 walls painted light sage green, the wall your bed goes on dark green. Make a fabric headboard for your bed of a light tan textured fabric. Use nature elements: green and tan sheet and comforter, and light and dark green and gold pillows and shams. If you want to make it really exotic, use bamboo poles and make a canaopy bed with some soft mosquito netting attached.
Paint your trim to match the bamboo color. Use two large slik plants with rustic pots in the corners, and as an accent color, have some red and gold collectibles around. A large mirror or piece of art would look great.

Pick a color that will grow with you and nothing that will drive you insane after a day. It seems like you like animals so try a zebra print rug, it still involves animals but it has a maturity factor to it. Make sure you have items you can grow with as well as change such as bulletin boards. For bedding try to get a couple of options so when you get bored of one you can change it. Good Luck!
P.S. A light purple might be a good choice.

Why not go with a seaside theme. Blues and greens are restful colors for a bedroom and with white trim will make it all look very fresh. There are lots of interesting accessories you can use with this idea. You can even make pillows with the design of flags that they use on ships.

paint your walls cream, then apply gold glitter paint over the top. it'll really catch the sun and look beautiful!

go for light green paint & creme paint, and if you like your room to a bit feminine go for your favorite color, that you can paint your room and put some curtains that match your paint. and that also matches to you age. ;)

Paint the walls and ceiling completely black then apply huge pink circles all over the place..........different? I dunno whether it would be regarded as cool though :-D
