A friend of mine is back in the country and she told me she hopes we can hang out...thing is, I like her and she only likes me as a friend, pretty sure...i think it'd be best if we didn't hang out 1 on 1 so i dont start liking her more and i dont have to worry about trying to impress or something and not know what to say...but instead hanging out with a group
we're having a bday party for 2 of my friends and im thinking of inviting her because she has no idea about it...
would this be a good idea? or would it mean im still pursuing her? she said she wants to go dancing and stuff when she is back in town and i thought this is the perfect opportunity to go with a group...or should i ignore her and not tell her about it? i hear sometimes ignoring the girl will make her like you or something? whatsup with that? thanks.

you still like her, stuff it invite her if you want, dont ignore her she will hate you, tell her how you feel and it will go from there you never know until you ask her! go for it

Okay man, why in the world would you not persue her!? You never know, she just might like you, or come to like you through hanging out with you. If you want her go for it all the way, and if it doesn't work out then at least you know you tried. I would say that you have a much better chance than you think you do! Good luck!

No you should not ignore her. your perception that ignoring her will make her get attracted to you, is wrong. instead of getting attracted to you she will rather think other way that you are not a caring guy. if you invite her, she will certainly be impressed that you care for her. and this is the only and sure way to make her your own if u are really interested in her.

Invite her to go to the party with you. There's no harm in hanging out with her and seeing what develops naturally.

Invite her, be natural, do not try to impress her, do not ignore her. No girl likes to be ignored, pursue her in spite of her not permitting it. Girls like a persistent lover.

Your ideas are all messed up. What is there if you go alone with her. Even you can invite her for the birthday party and accompany her and make her feel comfortable.

Having hidden motivations can be pretty sneaky, as hard as it can be to control your feelings. Ignoring someone will not make someone like you.....nothing will "make" a girl like you. She either likes you or she doesn't and that's life. Golden rule? Be YOURSELF. If she doesn't like you it's her loss...move on and find someone else. However, you can never really be sure. Sometimes years can go by before someone decides that they like you. If you want her to go, then ask her. NO MINDGAMES.

obviously,she regards you as a friend.Any effort you pay can not change her to your gf.
i used to have such experience too ,the reality tells me it is just in vain .
forget her althought it is such a pain ,and pursuit another avaliable one.
