The best program that ive used to download youtube vids is called:

zillatube

maybe thats the one that you are looking for

it is such an easy program to work with

and its FREE

when you download on the site
obviously click on free download
when you install it
dont mind the registry and what not...just click "try it"

and it works the same way as if you had it registered

have fun!

yes! there is one, try the REAL player, just get the free one, it still does everything the premium does...

also, you might have to enable the Active X control to actually enable downloading the youtube video:

1) on internet explorer 7 click Tools
2) look at the bottom of the drop-down menu and click Internet Options
3) click the Programs tab
4) then click Manage Add-ons button

note: you have to look for the Real player Active X control, in the different selections of the drop-down menu.

5) click Enable
6) click OK
7) click OK
8) download the video of your choice! from anywhere!!!

Don't worry, it's all legit, I use it myself!

Yes. Use the extensions available in Firefox to download embedded and/or linked videos (such as those at YouTube).
