i'm trying to get licensed in order to marry my friends, they live in montana does ne one knwo the process of doing so or if i have to do through a certain training... websites can be helpful... please!!!!

Here are two of the easiest sites I've come across while looking for an answer to your question. My only other suggestion is to check with your local courthouse about what is involved in becoming a Notary, since they can also perform weddings. Congratulations on being selected by your friends to perform a ceremony!

it is probably easier and cheaper to just hire a local officiant and be involved in some other part of the ceremony by doing a reading or performing a song in honor of the couple..

There are plenty of places online that will ordain you. Just type in getting ordained online into a yahoo search. Tons of things come up.

Before you do this, double check with your state's requirements. Pennsylvania recently did away with allowing ministers who do not have a regular congregation from performing weddings.
