No. I fully support the spirit of the speech, but nothing he said was anything I hadn't heard, thought or been exposed to myself.

After doing a bit of research, I'm impressed that Bill Gates wasn't just mouthing off, but actually HAS done a lot of meaningful social work in the past few years. For that I applaud him. I'll settle for people in power not doing bad things, but I really like it when people in power do good things.

No, I can't say that he has although how he got to where he has today has given alot of people some big dreams. Today inventions come about and technology leaps forward because of what he achieved years ago.
