Pick up a book titled "Nobodies, Modern American Slave Labor". I'll bet the slave owner's were just as thankful back in the day. Watch the move "Fast Food Nation", and you might start to re-think what you are thankful about.
I am thankful for the the brave men and women who fought for this nation's freedoms and rights, and fought to keep Opportunity for All, who stood up for their rights and the rights of their fellow workers, and made the U.S. the great country it is today. To bad the same thing never happened down in Latin America where most illegals come from.
I'll bet the ruling elites of Latin American thank you for being so short sighted.

Not illegals, thats for sure. I'm thankful to my ancestors that date back to the colonial times. And thankful to my ancestors that date back to American Indian times. And I'm sad to see an economy where people buy new cars every year but cant afford to pay a farmer a decent wage.

I am not thanful for them illegally entering my country or to the high taxes i pay in Texas for the hospitalization, schooling, birthing of their bambinos, crime they committ on American citizens, or to them driving without insurance or license. I am not thankful for the diseases they bring into our life or for flying the mexican flag and declaring that they own the Southwest and lack of respect for the Anglo who made America a civilazation. I am not thankful that my grandchildren and maybe children will have to fight the Mexicans in a war to free this country again. Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Incidently my turkey is American made.

for not thinking about what you just mentioned while I was eating.
Sorry, but until they start screening all food handlers for disease, I can't just say it's fine that illegals are handling our food. Mind you, that goes for the temporary worker program staffing many meat packing plants which is totally legal and medically unscreened, as well.

I too am thankful for the many ways the honest immigrants improve American lives. Not all immigrants are here collecting welfare and committing crimes.

I am thankful for the fact that my family is not as ignorant about economics as yours must be to think that illegals are a good thing.
