Anyone going?
I want to get the doorbuster at bestbuy they are giving it away at 3 am
so what time do you think I should head there since the doorbuster ticket is limited?

I drove by Best Buy this evening and people were actually TENTED out in front of the store, presumably trying to get a good spot in line to get in tomorrow morning. So I suppose depending on where you are, you may already be running late.
Personally, to answer your question, NO I don't participate in the madhouse of shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I did go tonight, just to pick up a few things, not gift shopping. Tonight the stores were pretty calm, actually, even Walmart. I think it's the calm before the storm.
I have never been, but from what I hear, it's all kind of like a bad episode of Springer...fighting, clawing, tossing crap over other customers, sending family members on covert missions so someone in your group gets one of everything on sale. Sounds a lot like the very worst human nature has to offer. And it would probably make me pretty disgusted with folks in general.
So I have sort of stockpiled everything ahead. I intend to stay home for a couple weeks. I don't have that much to buy this year, and most of it was done when I had a cash spurt a couple weeks ago.

me. I once went there at 2 am but didn't get one so maybe you should show up at 1 wait 2 hours get the ticket. go home. take a nap. and come back at 7 because I believe sells end at 9 or 10

Well, it's 2:16a.m. where I am, so if it's that time where you are, I'd already be there.
But seriously, I'd go out a couple of hours early.. even if you're the only one there then, at least you'll be first in line at 3a.m.!
