and we've know each other for a long time 3/4 years

so is it okay that im 14 almost 15 and he's 19? Do you think thta 19 and up guys like girls younger than they are?

im not gonna have sex with him til i am legal, at least

You're too young. And if you're 14, then your still in school, and a 19 year old will get tired of waiting for you.

just the fact that you are so happy and talking about this so freely should scare the hell out of the guy. I don't know what state you live in, but this relationship could give him some jail time, and nice little spot on the sex offender registry. You might think it's cool, because you've known him for a while, but in the eyes of the law, not cool. Do you want your "special friend" to go to jail, end up on the sex offender registry, and not be able to get a job later on in life. He should know better, you at 14 may not. Would you feel bad if he ended up in jail? If so, you should be careful.

Like him all you want, but don't get any silly ideas about going any further than that for a few more years. Trust me, 3/4 of a year is NOT a long term relationship. And if he has any brains he will not take this any further either unless he's ready to go to jail.
It may be hard to believe, but by the time you are grown up, say in your 20's or so, you probably won't even remember the guy.

There nothing wrong with this. People who say so are simply narrow minded idiots. According to "research," "scientists/experts" think that an age difference of 2 to 5 years is the best for maturity adjustment since girls mature faster than boys. More than 2 but less than 5. So, you're perfectly OK. But there's one thing I want to add. Since you have a "big" difference, he might want to dominate over you a little bit. If that's OK with you, there's no problem whatsoever.

It could be that older guys do like younger girls. They have less experience. Or even, that they think you are just so beautiful, and the age doesn't even bother them. I am in the exact situation. But I am 16 and a 18 and a 19 year old likes me. it sounds like the age doesn't bother the guy. And it shouldn't. No one should be put down by others words or actions because of their age. Bilogically it is not a problem, in fact, until about 150 years ago all humanity's first born children were to 14-16 year old mothers, but in this day and age with the laws and social mores, best to wait til you are 18

that's not good, you should look for a guy that is about your age, in that way you both will have the same interests. With this 19 yr old it will be very hard for the relationship and it is illegal

if your almost 15 then wait til your 15 because then it's okay, (law wise I really don't care as long as the guy is older) because (idk if this changes state to state ) but if there's only 4 years then it's okay up to the age of 16 which is the age of consent. at least thats how it is here so i'd check it out before you take my advice word for word because im not sure...

If you really like this guy, wait a few more years because even though 5 years age difference doesn't sound like that much, the difference between 14 and 19 is tremendous. Besides that, it's illegal. I know you may like this guy, but it's just not worth him going to jail or you getting hurt.

Its illegal. If you care for yourself and him. Then wait til you are 16-17.
He will want more then what you can do at this time . You are still a child and need room to grow.
He can be put in Jail for a long time, and Labeled as a Sex Offender .
