Love and happiness is Important in life, Not Age , Just what has age got to do with it?

If onlookers do not like that then they are bigots and most likely lack that sort of love and affection in their own life.

My wife is four years younger than me and looks ten years younger and I would like to think that is because she is so happy with our loving relationship.

Forget other peoples judgement. Go with love, I wish You a happy married life

Of course it's okay for a 31 year old woman to date a 29 year old guy...two years is not a huge age gap when they're at that age. And as for what an acceptable age gap is, it all depends on how old they are...for example, it's not acceptable for a 15 year old to date a 21 year old, because at that age there's really not much in common...but it's okay for a 24 year old to date a 30 year old...same age gap, but one's acceptable due to the actual ages of the people.

And as for guys dating older women, my husband had only ever dated older women until he met me. I'm the only younger woman he's ever been with, and we're six years apart in age.

well hun, I am 35 and dating a 18 year old...he is studious, he allready has an SUV at 18. He is responsible, and the funniest thing is that he dosent even have his own personal computer or get online! He only does what he needs to through school...so time will tell but maturity of the person in question is also important. I am also dating a 62 year old man who is accomplished and an extremely wonderful person to be around. I am currently undecided as to what direction to take so I am going to take it slow but as you can see being middle aged has its interesting perks. Take Care and realize age is nothing but a number. You have to find someone who gets you and your personality, thats all that matters. -Rachel.

I think 2 or 3 years hardly counts. I dont think most men care if their woman is older. Especially only 2 years. Some guys think it's hot to get a more mature woman. Like they are special cuz they got an older woman. I hear this all the time.

Thats really not that much older. When I saw the question I thought you meant something like teenagers dating adults, or huge age gaps.

As for guys minding older woman, it depends on the guy. I know one of my friends will only date older woman. He's in his late 20's and will only date woman that are 30+. I have another friend in his early 30's that only dates woman in their early 20's. Everybody has their own tastes.

Most men don't and that age difference isn't anything at all really. If you get along, then I wouldn't worry about it, it is when you stress and worry that the age difference becomes and issue. My mom just married a man 20 years younger then her, and they didn't even realize it until they were dating for a couple months. I am married to a man 4 years older then me, and I only think about it when people point it out, and even then, I don't really care.

yes to the first question, no to the second

The question is, "Why do you ask?" Is it the age gap alone that's worrying you, or are there some other factors that you think might be harmful to the relationship? If this is the case, then don't let age be an excuse to keep you from thinking about those.

If you lke each other and have no real problems between you, though, then by all means GO OUT!!!!

An acceptable age gap is anywhere between 18 years old and death.

An acceptable age gap is whatever's acceptable for the two people who are interested in each other. A two year difference is absolutely fine.

That's only a 2 year difference! I'm 30 and I like older women too.
