You could make peanut-butter play dough:
1 c. peanut butter
2/3-1 c. nonfat dry milk
2 tbsp. honey
Mix this together. Adjust texture with milk or honey so you can handle it like modeling clay. Shape it into balls and roll in coconut or sprinkles.
Another thing I've done with children is pre-bake sugar cookies, and bring along some prepared colored decorating icings and other decorating items, and allow kids to decorate cookies.

How about using a microwave oven? Much safer than a stove or regular oven. You just have to be careful lifting the container out of the MW oven because it may have absorbed heat from the food.

how about Mousse Maracuja. Delicious
Get some passion fruit, scoop out the centres, put through a sieve to get rid of some of the pips, some pips are good but not too many.
Whisk up a can of condensed milk
Whisk up a carton of whipping cream
Fold all 3 together
Put into glass trifle bowl and into the fridge overnight

For a snack you can crush graham crackers in a bowl or bag after they are crushed then take some bananas and cover them with peanut butter. Roll them in the graham cracker crumbs. Pudding is another good idea Also you could let them make sandwiches from chicken salad or pimento cheese. Give them cute plastic cookie cutters and let them cut their sandwiches in to different shapes. fruit sald , like the kind you put marshmallows in. Banna pudding using instand pudding mix sour cream milk bananas and vanilla wafers, They could layer they bananas and wafers in the pan. Also you can show them how to build a sub sandwich.

Put together sandwiches and cut them into fun shapes with cookie cutters, maybe leave them open on top (no top slice of bread) and have the top layer be yellow or orange cheese, then you can use a leaf shaped cookie cutter to create yellow and orange "leaves" for autumn. Or have the top layer be white bread and use snow men cookie cutters, use condiments to add eyes, nose, and mouth. Stick mini pretzel sticks into the sides for arms. Have fun!
You know it just occurred to me, if you're going to decorate your snow men with condiments you should put condiments into little bowls on the tables with lots of little tooth picks. Then the children can use the tooth picks to "draw" on the faces and buttons without making a huge mess.
Had another thought! Mix yellow mustard and ketchup for orange to draw on an orange carrot nose and use peanut butter to "glue" on raisins to make the snow man's buttons.
Okay, I'll stop hitting "edit" to add to my answer now, I promise, LOL!

Try potato salad or macaroni salad. There isnt much cooking you can do if your not heating or baking. You have to use the stove at some point.

*Cheese and crackers
*peanut butter/ celery / raisins for "ants on a log" (or cream cheese)
*Graham crackers w/ peanut butter / choc chips, marshmellows, etc
*Assorted shapes of cut fruit / veggies can be used to make faces on white paper plates. (Its amazing what kids will eat if they can play with it first! Cauliflower makes a great mustache, slices of red cabbage have a great purple swirl pattern, slices of mushroom, carrot curls, etc with low fat ranch to dip)
*Taco Bar: you cook the meat then let the kids make their own tacos / taco salad.
