it's not for nude pics. We're getting to see each other this Christmas, I'm not sure I can afford to go out and get a sexy little thing, but I have a set of personalized dogtags I was planning on giving him...

Are these for photos? If so, don't send nude pics. They can fall into the wrong hands in a variety of ways and that's embarassing for everyone. In addition, if he's in Iraq or Afghanistan, he can't have them anyway.
Racy and suggestive, however, is another story entirely. Go ahead and get his imagination working overtime.

My husband is military and he's never personally asked me to wear his dogtags, he likes to keep work and play separate you know? But a good VS outfit...and he goes wild =) Just find out what yoru particular man likes.

dont worry soo much about it, I know when I came home from Iraq for R&R my wife started worrying about how she looked and what kind of lingerie she should buy, even though I kept telling her that I dont care what she does, as long as I have her.
So in the end, my answer is, whatever you want, he will be happy either way.

He wants to see his girlfriend/wife/SO.
Generally he will be so happy see you that he won't care what you are wearing.
If you really want to impress him - wear the same thing you wore on his first date or some other significant event. (And tell him beforehand if he is one of us who have trouble remembering those things.)
