Dreamt that I cut off all my fingers on my right hand!?

Question

Don't know why but in my dream I just took some scissors & just started to snip off my fingers 1 by 1. Had some trouble with the ring finger but eventually got that one off too. I didn't have any pain & I wasn't even thinking about what I would do with a fingerless hand... until I gathered up all my severed fingers and went to go type on the computer! I felt my amputated fingers in my other hand, they were just like meaty twig like things. I looked at my nubby hand & it finally dawned on me what I had done to myself & I freaked out. I ran sobbing to my mother & showed her my now-fingerless hand. I begged her to take me to the hospital & she just sat there. I begged & pleaded & she said she was too busy. I begged some more & she said, "too bad, it's too late, you can't reattach those fingers and you are going to have to learn to live with what you did to yourself." She wouldn't even try to comfort me; she was as cold as stone! :( There is a lot more to this dream but not enuff rm2tp

Then I "woke" up in my dream (I dreamed I was dreaming, lol) & looked & felt for my fingers, they were all still there. Then I was a singer & I was on tour. But I was lonely. There was a man that I longed for that was in the military & he was far off in the war, & I was sad & wanted to bring him home. As if they were reading my mind, this group of "fans" put together a task force & planned to go find him & bring him home. There was also something to do with putting soup in a boot that was pretty comical, but I forget why it was in the dream. (maybe comic relief, haha) Then I was raking through some sand that had little miniature pots & exquisite vases in it. I was sifting through the broken pieces trying to find whole ones. I found several but I also found a starfish. It was a very tiny starfish & I wanted to keep it alive. I don't know what happened to it because then my dream switched channels.

The "fans" came back & they had brought the man home for me. There was a big party to celebrate their success. They told about how they had distracted the superior officers while they all stole away through tall grass & stole food from the other soldiers to be able to make the trip back. We had a big party & had 3 big tower cakes. Somebody blew up one of the cakes - there was cake everywhere! Then I was at a bar/some tiki hut & was just about to order a drink from this really HOT guy but my phone started to ring & it was my husband & I was just like, "oh, it's you. Nothing going on here, just at a restaurant." As I was on the phone the HOT guy was totally flirting with me & I was having a hard time concentrating. Finally I just dropped the phone & stopped to talk to the bartender but then I was distracted by something else & I woke up all disconcerted and felt buzzed! lol :) Interpretations?

I always dream very detailed dreams. I cannot believe you can get 2 points for pointing out scrap like that. Come on! Where are the real dream interpreters?

This is a long dream, but I will just tell you what the first part meant. Cutting off your fingers represents you did something in your life which caused you to lose a "grip" on how to deal with issues. Which allows stress, worry, anxiety, and fears and enter into your life. Your mother's part in your dream is about her allowing you to suffer the consequences of your actions because they were self inflicted.

if you cut all the fingers on your right hand off and your left handed it probably means that your getting rid of all uneccasary things in your life or that you need to. if its on your left hand your sacraficing somthing that means alot to you or your afraid youll have to. i didnt read this cause it was so long. but thats what i think.
