i think..considering the size of people my age i'd probably be average or a bit below average

No matter how you cut it - age, gender - I'm short. I'm 4'10 and 1/2" - although my last doctor's visit said I was 4'11". Not sure though since I don't know how I could have grown in my 30s.
And any woman who is 5'4" or 5'5" is NOT short! That is average height for a woman in America these days.
To the person who said she was too tall - I'll take some of it! We could both be about average then! 8^)

I am short...I am 5'4" and I have been this height since I was 10 years old. I was considered to be freakishly tall by the other kids in school and my greatest wish was to be short....Then I stopped growing and never got any taller. I remember the first time a boy in high school said I was short. It actually made me really happy...
Ironically, as an adult I now wish I was tall.

I am short or petite. Used to be 5'2''. Now that I am a senior citizen, I think I am only 5'. I shrank.

Hey. I think I'm average. I'm 5"8 last time i measured so thats 159cm. I'm 16.
But my sister, who is 13 is the same height as me!!!
I don't get it :( Is she just the giant or am I the midget. :(

Tall for a woman, 5'9" with a 34" inseam...buying jeans is a nightmare!
