Is it possible to open your own cpa business even though I have no public accounting experience?

I have over 10 years of Corporate Accounting experience and I am currently in the process of receiving my CPA.

when your licence is issued, you'll be able to start your own cpa business in those states which have reciprosity with the one where you get your licence.

I know that NY, CA, and VT all require actual experience in a public accounting firm under a licenced practitioner with a valid in that state licence, so you won't be opening your business there.
