So i put the movie in thinking "gosh what fun, a HD action movie that i love and cant wait to see again" when the disc wont load. So i go on to the samsung website and find out that i can update my dvd player. so i do that. did exactly what was said, and it worked the way it said it should.
so i put the disc back in and it still wont load. but the number 1 and word slideshow appear on the little panel on the player...
so i put an old dvd in to make sure the dvd player wasnt screwy. worked fine. the number 2 and the word slideshow appeared.
then i put the HD disc in and it started to play, but the dvd player would disconnect as it played "no signal" etc.
what the hell is going on....?
anyone?

I had problems with Samsung BD player as well. Sometimes it would play and mostly would not play new BD discs.
Call Samsung support.
