Ok so. I have been having this reacurring dream. It goes like this. So I am running and there is this guy chasing me. You can't see his face coz he is like a siloete (yeah, i know thats not how you spell it). And everytime I have the dream he gets closer and closer. Last week he got me. And I don't know what it means or anything, but it freaks me out.

I had the same dream, except it was bears chasing me (no joke). I was told that next time I had the dream, I should consciously finish the dream by facing the bears and winning. I did that and the recurring dream hasn't come back.

Well I think a dream can mean many things, it can mean that there is someone in our life who you feel is chasing you, it can also mean that you saw a scary thing and your brain got that scary thing and now you dream it once but you think about it more so you are dreaming it more, dreams usually happened because of something that is in your mind or something you saw on TV or on the street, or just a fear you have but then it can also just mean nothing. Hopefully that helps.

I think the dream is a generalized fear exercising itself through your subconscious dream state. Unspecified/generalized feelings find a way to express through the things our minds knows we fear. Being chased is common.

We all have fears and dreads that we cope with in our everyday waking lives because we dream at night and they find a way of expressing and releasing. Some of us remember our dreams and become naturally frightened at the intensity, the bizarreness, what can it mean?
Dreams are the healthy maintenance of the rational mind.

It means that you have a subconscious "worry" about an aspect in your life right now. Figure out what is about to go down in your life as far as failing a class, getting caught doing something wrong, or anything along that line.

ive heard the best way to stop a reoccuring dream is when you wake up try not to freak out and make up the ending of the dream yourself before you fall back asleep.

Maybe something in your past is going to be catching up to you and you don't know what it is, because you can't see his face. Just a guess though.
