So, let me get this straight. I'm being thankful that the White Americans killed off almost all of the Native Americans and thus were allowed to eat their share of food on this most auspicious of days? I mourn Thanksgiving. But I celebrate it in mourning.

Joes,
Thanksgiving is a time for all friends and relatives to come together and give thanks for and to one another. I love all people from all walks of life and all religious/non-religious backgrounds. It should not matter what your beliefs are if you have been a part of a family they should appreciate you for that. I went to a Nursing Facility prior to noon and "Gave Thanks" for a group of elderly who had no one to do so. They were unable to find a preacher last year to do so and I was happy to assist them this year and hope that I will be able to do so again next year if they will have me. We should all attempt to assist those who are unable to care for themselves in any way that we possibly can. We attended a Thanksgiving lunch and dinner with family members today and had a wonderful time. I hope that your Thanksgiving was as great as ours was also.
Thank YOU,
Eds

You should be grateful for what you have, no matter what you believe (that is, where ever you think you got your stuff and your food.) You are a better person if you have an attitude of gratitude.

Have you ever been really short on money? Out of a job? THen you know how good it is to be able to feed yourself and your loved ones.
