I was just wondering, since Jesus said that the sole reason God created women in the first place was to provide company and service to men (1 Corinthians 11:9), God determined that men would be lonely living alone, so he created women purely to keep men company and serve their needs (Genesis 2:18-22). I suppose this means that women are therefore completely subordinate to men (1 Corinthians 11:3). It stands to reason, though, that once men enter the Heaven, they will be one with God, and will no longer be lonely and in need of mortal companionship. So does this mean that women don’t have souls? Also, where do they go when they die?

Your suppositions are in error, and do not match Orthodox Christian teaching. All women are NOT completely subordinate to all men: this is either a gross misinterpretation or a deliberate lie on your part (of 1 Corinthians 11:3).

Yes, women DO have souls, since they are capable of sin and need salvation. Jesus recognized their worth as people all the time and welcomed them in His company of disciples. A woman gave birth to Jesus without the help of a man. A company of women were on hand when Jesus was Ressurected! The first person to see Jesus alive after the Crucifixion was a woman, not a man!

Christ came to bring humanity together with God and each other. There is no longer any difference: Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor free. We are all meant to be ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.

Those who wish to use religion to subordinate others, only succeed in blaspheming the scriptures, like Satan did while tempting Jesus. It is a completely demonic activity.

Interesting argument.

Assuming that God was indeed responsible for the writing of the Bible and God did divinely inspire each and every word that was physically written by the various prophets and collected into the Bible, there are still some concerns to be addressed about the literal truth of the current English translated Bible.
Now I am about to venture in to blasphemy here but truth often takes that course.
The Bible was translated into Greek. From Greek to Latin. The Latin version was re-written by the First Council of Nicaea which was organized by a self exiled Roman Emperor who founded the most corrupt regime in our worlds history. This re-written Bible with many entire books deleted and others inserted was further re-written by several popes as well as several Kings until finally a Scottish noble who became an English King (James I) had it rewritten yet again this time editing it to recognize the Church (Church of England) created to grant an earlier King (Henry VIII) a divorce.
So my concern is this. Did god also inspire and guide the Byzantines and all of the Kings and did he intend that portions he already wrote be deleted and did he favor the church created by Henry for his divorce over all of the rest of Christianity? If God wanted parts changed and deleted does this imply an error on his part?
Did God also directly inspire all of the translators who transfered the Bible from its original Hebrew and Aramaic to Greek, to Latin to Germen to Old English to Middle English to Modern English? If so why are versions different?
Is it possible that in all of that translating and under the review of many politicians some of which were not Christian and some of which were accused of criminal acts that just maybe there is a mistake or two?

There I went and Blasphemed.
Since I am doomed to burn anyway for casting a doubt I might as well say I think the modern Bible is mostly politically motivated nonsense.

Boy another voice from the dark ages! Get real. If women didn't have souls, you might not exist! According to the bible, woman was made from man's rib so she would neither be above nor subservient to man! The church added all that crap because it is run by men and they feared that if they let women think for themselves, they might run the church and country a lot better! Grow up!

What a chauvenist thing to say ! Of course women have souls. What do you think we are ? Lower than ALMIGHTY GODS beloved animal creatures ? Women who have loved GOD and kept HIS commandments or tried and prayed for forgiveness when the have sinned go to the place we think of as Heaven or Paradise or however you think of it.

Male and female created he them and blew the breath of life into them and they became a living soul
every creature that God made has a soul and we all go to be with him
unless we don't know him and he says depart from me I never knew you and you enter into the lake of fire

"since Jesus said" ... Jesus didn't say anything in Corinthians hon, that was Paul, and that's not what he said, you twisted the words.

"he created women purely to keep men company and serve their needs" - again with the add on of words, better be careful, what God DID say was "woe to him who adds one word..." tsk tsk hon.

You seem to forget that without a woman, you wouldn't be here :)

You also seem to forget that the two individuals named who received Jesus help were ..... insert drumroll here .... women.

Stop twisting God's word, it's very unbecoming :)

You had a reach in logic when you said that when men go to heaven they don't need women and therefore they don't have souls. The Bible does not qualify that statement, and therefore it is not correct.
