my 7 month old blue pitbull/german shephard puppy went missing last night (11/21/07) around the northern part of chicago (near Drake ave and Montrose). Although he is a mixed breed, he only looks like a full pitbull. He has gray fur with patches of missing hair (skin irritations) and a white belly. He weighs almost 60 pounds. He is very friendly but at this point he must be extremely frightened. He doesn't have a collar on since he received a bath the night he went missing. Please if you have seen him or know anything please please please contact me!

No I haven't see your dog, I live way out in northern Manitoba. :)
I recommend that you put up a "lost dog" add here: http://chicago.craigslist.org/pet/ Include all the information that you just gave us, along with a photo or two of the dog. I'm sure that there are some people on there who may have seen or found your dog, or may help you find it.

Good Luck

Go to http://www.dogdetective.com and register there, its free. On the site you can upload a photo and give some information. You can make a Lost flyer to post around, and the site will also send out an email alert to anyone registered in your area including shelters and rescues.

Put up flyers, contact shelters and the vet. Do all that you can and make sure to go out looking as much as you can. I hope you find your baby!

You can also put up flyers and check at your local shelters, and have them call you if they recieve a dog that resembles yours.
