to start off with forget about the other people. your vows are to your fiance not to your family and friends. think about how you feel when you're with him, how did you feel when he proposed? how do you feel when you see him for the first time each day? how has he changed you or your life? if that doesn't help find an outside source. there are millions of songs and poems out there that you can borrow words from.

I am sorta shy myself about pblic speaking ... I was thinking of maybe sending my finacee a note with all the things i really want to say. then just do basic vows.

I just want to make it through it without balling my eyes out
. ( it is such an emotional day)

it would be kind of hard to have a piece of paper there and read it to him .
without crying ........ especially when it comes from deep within the heart

I promise to stand beside you and with you against all troubles. I will give you the best parts of me that I have to give. I lay my heart at your feet with no fear . I accept you as my husband, lover and friend without trying to change you. I will be open to forgiveness and understanding toward you. Today I take you as my lifetime partner come whatever is in our future. I love you more today than yesterday and less than I will tomorrow. I thank all of the heavens for leading me to your arms.

Start out by writing what is in your heart, how you feel about him, what he means to you, how he makes you feel. Then rewrite it in a version that you can handle other people knowing. Maybe share it with your mom or sister, or a best friend and get their input.

Try going more traditional rather than "out there." It doesn't have to rhyme, or be dramatic, or bring a tear to anyone's eyes.

It's all about the two of you.

The more you obsess about it, the harder it will be to do.

Set it aside for a bit and come back to it later.

Best of luck to you !
