I am looking at purchasing one of these rifles. Does anyone have experience with either? The Browning is $100 (I can get it for $900AUD) more but I like the look & feel of the CZ. I was a little put off by the plastic 'gold' trigger on the Browning. I'm not sure if I liked the feel of the T-Bolt straight pull action in reality. As far as I know the Browning is made in the US & the CZ is made in the Chech Republic. I am looking at using the rifle for plinking, some range work & hunting small feral game. Accuracy is a high priority of course. Can anybody shed some light on which one to go for? Thanks

You might want to review the site below, rimfire central. That should give you all the info you should need. I was debating getting a CZ in the .17 hmr and decided to go with the Savage 93r17, mostly because I liked the accu trigger so much, plus it's an American company and I try to support American workers whenever I can. The other thing I didn't like about the CZ was the safety, it's kind of odd but that's more than a nit than a complaint.

The Browning is made in Japan and the CZ in the Czech Republic. I have owned/shot the CZ 452 ZKM 2E Special and Lux. They are very accurate and are machined very, very well. I have never shot a T-Bolt but I know people who have and they said that they are fine guns. A far as gold triggers are concerned, I own a Browning Buckmark and it has a gold trigger. That is just a Browning thing. The Browning is more "polished" and has less tool marks than the CZ, which is why it is more expensive-not to mention the legendary name attached to it. Looks to me like you win either way. It's like choosing between a BMW and a Mercedes.
