Never loose your cool. Be polite. This actually works and works very well. When they see that they can't undermine you, they're left feeling utterly dumbfounded if not totally stupid!

Smile. Always be kind. Do not share your personal life with this person. If they ask you a question and you feel like answering, do so with a short and quick response to the point. No one can ever make you feel anything, you do. Have a better opinion of yourself, hold your head high and your shoulders back. Stand tall. When you smile, think of something naughty, the other person will wonder what your smiling about and think there is something wrong with them. Have confidence. Best wishes.

It would be impossible to answer this fully without getting numerous profanity violations. Anyone that treats me like a second class citizen deserves nothing better in return from me.
Those who do not offer respect are not worth respect.

The first thing to remember is to be polite. Firm but polite. Point out to this person, in public preferably ( this will hieghten thier sense of shame ) that this sort of behaviour Will not be tolerated - under any circumstances ! If it continues simply ignore him/her and treat him/her with supreme indifference.

It will only lower you to attempt to talk trash to them. You need to speak to them really politely, and provided that you know them very well, you can speak to them specifically about it. Be careful not to point the finger at them, though- no one likes to be blamed. Try something like "When you say/do this, it makes me feel like you think that I am a lesser person than you." As cheesy as that may sound, it puts you as the main point of the sentence and helps shift the blame onto your misunderstanding. Hope this helps!

Of course that depends on who it is.
If it's your boss, find a new job before you finally say something. Then politely quit, don't burn that bridge for future opportunities.
If it someone you hang out with, just stop hanging with them, tell them why, don/t leave that door open.
Best I can say is, if someone is making your life miserable, get them out of it as soon as possible. But always tell them why. If this is a customer I am afraid you have to take it or send him to deal with another co-worker. A worker has the right to refuse any part of their job if they feel it is damaging to them.

Treat them like a third class person. And never take your eyes off them when you speak to them, even if they look at something else.

hey..hey.. what happens to you does not make you who you are.
i hope you know that.
anyway, im sure being treated unfairly is irratating and sometimes hurtfull. maybe you should simply voice out your opinion. if you'd like, ask a friendly face for advice on how to put the sentence all together. it's a bit difficult for me to tell you how bcause i dont know who's the one thats treting you that way, and nor do i know how old are you..
anyay, keep your chin up high, you know whats best for you.

It is far better if you behave like a higher quality type person. You may also want to request they treat you like everyone else and not speak down to you.

The way you would if they treated you like a 1st class person. Why would you stoop below that person? Showing them that YOU have class is the truest way of "showing them up."
Have a polite day.
