Broken leg represents hindering one's self in regard to making the right decisions. Basically, it means because this person did not initiate the authority to exercise the right decision, he laid a trap for himself and it back fired on him. Right and left side both have significant meanings. Injurying the left side represents walking in "foolish" decisions which hurt you. While injurying the right side means failing to make the right decision which will hurt you.

it simbolizesthat something will happen in your life that is bad. if he used a crutch aviod all drugs because that means you will use drugs as a crutch for the bad stuff
