Even though I am a Sony fanbody, I think that's just more of a marketing statement than anything else. Hideo Kojima, the master mind behind the Metal Gear Solid series, has stated the 360 is capable of handling Metal Gear Solid 4 performance wise (not in disc space though).

The PS3 and 360 use different ways to achieve virtually the same outcome. There will be differences at times, each system has something it can do better than the other. But overall, they're pretty much the same when it comes to performance. Now, here's the catch. The PS3 uses the Bluray disc which stores up to 54GB of memory compared to the DVD format the 360 uses which hold about 9.5GB of memory. Having more memory on a disc does allow you to store more things on a disc and if developers know the system's architecture, then they can use the extra space to their advantage.

RockStar, the development team for the Grand Theft Auto series, has stated that the game will look and be better on the PS3 because the Bluray discs have much more storage value. Like I said, the two systems can achieve almost the same performance in games (even though on paper the PS3 is more powerful), but having that extra storage helps will every aspect of the game. On top of that, these are companies that have always taken time to learn the system's architecture to take the very best advantage of the system's performance. You can add Naughty Dog to your list, have you seen their latest game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? The game is beautiful (and fun) and just shows what happens when people truly learn the system to make a quality product instead of making exscuses like other development teams *caughs* Ubi Soft.

IM still waiting to see God of War 3 on PS2 it was awesome but i cant wait for it on PS3 and PS3 is just gettin better

PS3 has 25 and 50 GB space on a bluray disc and a 100 Gb has been invented and PS3 also has 8 cell processors and 360 has 3

Compare a standard dvd disc thats 9 GB to a Blu ray disc with a 100 Gb and 8 to 3 cell prossesors

The thing is with the ps3 is that it was made to perfection, if the develepors do it right, they'll make it worthwhile to buy the games. The reason why there aren't that many good games for the ps3 is because developers need a lot of money and a lot of time which is not always something they have had. The PS3 is a very powerful gaming system when the games are done right. A good example is Naughty Dog's game, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Research that game and play it, you will be amazed.

Personally, I don't need em to be any better than Call of Duty 4. Have you seen it? Its incredible, all at 60fps, you dont need to get better than that!
