No, the only way to sober up to to let the alcohol naturally run its course through your body and filter through your blood and kidneys.

It depends what you mean by "drunk".
If I have a plate of pasta as a first course and a steak with salad and a bit of bread and I drink half a bottle of wine with it then I won't be drunk not tipsy but fed and happy.
If on the other hand I just drink half a bottle of wine with an empty stomac then I might get tipsy and a little drunk, which would cause me to seek food so as to take up some of the slack and stop my liver from pickling in the alcohol.

I dont think it is possible to get completely sober, but the apparent experts answering your question seem to forget that things like bread absorb the alcohol, and foods high in protien like eggs help with your blood alcohol level... coffee does too, so next time you party too hard grab some breakfast at a late night diner. P.S. Drinking on an empty stomach is a bad idea anyway...

depending on what you eat, you can actually stay drunk longer - some people, for example, will eat peanuts while drinking.. it sort of coats the stomach.. only the problem is that the peanuts are dense, they soak up the alcohol and actually keep your blood alcohol level high for a longer period of time..

No, the only thing that can make you sober is time. Things like food, black coffee, and cold showers don't work.
