My Parents. Spying on my computer?? how do i know if they are watching what i am doing.?

i'm not doing anything wrong.. my dad just seems really suspicious of me because i type really fast. and he wonders who i am talking too so fast..and he is really nosy

i dont like it when ppl suspect me of stuff.. maybe they should mind their own.. i dont go around looking at wat websites they are on.. I REALLY DONT CARE.. if i am a good student and a good kid then why do they care.. when my mom and i were watching a show about parents spying on their kids computers she just kinda looked at it.. and then carried on.. suspicious???

i think MY DAD is doing something.. because everytime i come up behind him while he's on the computer.. he is like "what do u want" "go away"

My girlfriend and her husband spy on their four kids all the time. They hate it, but at the same time, they know their parents are looking out for them, and if they ever got in over their heads with a person or a situation, mom and dad would be there in an instant. Besides, parents have been annoying, nosy and overprotective since the beginning of time, and that's never going to change.

I don't know how you can know if they're watching. My friends' four kids know their parents keep tabs on them, but they don't know that their parents have hacked all their passwords and access codes and read everything that goes in or comes out on their computer and cell phones. Tough break, I know. It's better than parents who don't care and then act shocked when they're 14 year old ends up pregnant.

Do you realize what some things on the net can do to you as a young person. If my children were growing up in these times, I would be "spying" on their computer contents, as well.

If you are doing some things that you would not want your father to see, then you are headed for trouble, and sometimes it is 'deadly" trouble.

It depends on how they are spying on you. If they are using a keylogger or id and password saving software and know what they are doing it would be nearly impossible for you to find it. Many of these are given similar names as popular software so if you look in the list of currently running programs they won't stand out. The safest thing is to not do anything online you wouldn't do in front of all of your friends or family.

hit ctrl-alt-del at the same time. it will popup the task manager. write down all the programs(processes)running and search on the net with google for eeach of them. if you see a program name that is meant for spying, then you know they are spying. If after your search it turns up nothing meant for spying your safe.

Then again if your parents are good, they would have made the spying program process a unique name so it will not show up on any search engines.

Then if your still unsure test them out. Pretend you are buying drugs or selling yourself for sex and they will intervine. Proving thus they are spying and you can call em out for being too overprotective and will only push you further away from them.

after you get off the internet right click on the internet icon and click on properties and under browsing history click on delete then click on delete history and they wont be able to see what you've been on. but if you're really like looking at porn then stop.

first if you log on to your E-mail they could have a "report card" activated which allows your parents to see what websites you have been on and what you did on that website or they go in to the " My computer" file and see when you were on and what you did and when the computer was turned on and off.
