As a foremost television maniac, I would have to say that it is worth...say...if you have a typical TV from that time...700 dollars. Sorry about the low price tag, but, nowadays, a 65 inch 1080p rear projection TV costs you just around 2000 dollars. Since it has an older age (TVs and Computers both have an up-to-date life span of just a few months), I believe this is a good rendition.

a brand new 57 inch widescreen hitachi projection is like 1200 on sale you can get them for 900 and they look better and have more features than the top of the line projection from 3 years ago the "ultravision"

Any item like that is worth what the demand for it is. If somone happens to need it and sees you have it for sale, they may offer more than you could get at a salvage auction. You could get an estimate just by Googling it or seeing what is offered for a similar item at eBay.
