What do you think about these colleges that are online, or ECPI, ITTtech, or any other short term degrees? Ones that are not actual colleges... are they ligit, anyone have experience with job placement afterwards?

Ive been in charge of hiring for many tech jobs, and my wife has been in charge of hiring for various management jobs.
Im afraid that we tend to laugh at them. There are two things about degrees that counted for us when we were hiring. The quality of the school, and the fact that it proved that the person was able to get thru college. Im afraid that online schools provided neither of those things. They might be a good place to get the knowledge but Im afraid that the degree itself is worth what you paid for it.
But if you need to do it online, and not just trying for cheap and fast, then you might check into the fact that many recognizably good schools do have online programs now.
