Milk is definitely okay for dogs. I was looking up dog foods and whats good for them on the internet and I even found out that regular cereal(not frosted flakes, froot loops etc.)and scrambled eggs are good for them. Every year for my dogs b-day i give him scrambled eggs with cheese on top and hes perfectly fine and when I told the vet about it....she said it was okay to do that.
(WAIT...........it wasn't chocolate milk was it? Definitely no chocolate for dogs duh obvious)

This dog is beyond the need for puppy milk. I suggest first having the dog checked for worms. Then feeding three times a day, high grade puppy kibble with some canned high grade puppy food mixed in so the dog will eat as much as possible. Danes do tend to be "boney" looking. Do have your vet check this dog over immediately. I have a friend with a Dane and he's had a number of issues that cause him to get really thin - these issues required specific medications. Your vet is your best resource for information as she/he has a degree in animal care and can physically examine the dog. Way more effective than a bunch of Yahoos using our psychic powers to give you advice!

A little spilled on the floor is not going to hurt him. It's not a good idea to give dogs milk but I doubt if he got enough to matter.

Milk can cause diarrhea but little else. And it is doubtful that he drank enough to hurt him. By 8 hours he would have gotten the runs, if he were going to. Nothing to worry about.

Milk isn't harmful to a puppy, especially not in a small dose. For god's sake, I thought I was neurotic....it's not like he ate dish soap or hot sauce or something. He might just have a little diarreha so bring him outside to go potty a few more times.

Are you kidding me... its milk. Puppies nurse too when they are born,... unless your puppy is lactose intolerant... which is highly* unlikley... my puppy drinks milk too..... and water. Theres no use cryin' over some spilt milk. If your puppy begins to act strangly(which is highly unlikely) take it to your vet. But trust me, a puppy wont get hurt from drinking milk. They need it to survuve when they are born. She/he will be absolutly fine. REALLY. DONT BE OVER WORRIED..........

I suggest that you call the vet pronto! This could easily kill him for drinking expired milk!
Happy Thanksgiving
