In John 14:28 , Jesus pbh said "The Father is greater than I" By stating that the "Father" is greater than himself, Jesus distinguished himself from God.
Also in John 20:17 Jesus Christ pbh told Mary magdalene to tell his folowers: "I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God and your God." Jesus' reference to God as "my Father and your Father" further emphasizes the distinction between himself and God. Furthermore, by referring to God as "his God", he left no room for anyone to intelligently claim that he was God.
Even in some of the writings of paul, which the Church has taken to be sacred, Jesus is referred to as a "man", distinct and different from God.
In 1st Timothy, 2:5, Paul writes
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Why dont the Christian brothers read their own bible and conclude that there is only ONE GOD. and Jesus Christ pbh is not GOD.

The Son of God
Another of the evidences used for Jesus’ divinity is the application of the title “Son of God” to Jesus. However, there are numerous places in the Old Testament where this title has been given to others.
God called Israel (Prophet Jacob) His “son” when He instructed Prophet Moses to go to Pharaoh in Exodus 4:22-23, “22 And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Israel is my first-born son, 23and I say to you, ‘Let my son go that he may serve me.’ ” [5]
In 2nd Samuel 8:13-14, God calls Prophet Solomon His son, “13 He [Solomon] shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14I will be his father, and he shall be my son.”
God promised to make Prophet David His son in Psalms 89:26-27: “26 He shall cry unto me, ‘Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation,’ 27Also I will make him my first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.” [6]

Angels are referred to as “sons of God” in The Book of Job 1:6, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.” [7]
In the New Testament, there are many references to “sons of God” other than Jesus. For example, when the author of the Gospel according to Luke listed Jesus’ ancestors back to Adam, he wrote: “The son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.” [8]
Some claim that what is unique in the case of Jesus, is that he is the only begotten [9] Son of God, while the others are merely “sons of God”. However, God is recorded as saying to Prophet David, in Psalms 2:7, “I will tell the decree of the Lord: He said to me, ‘You are my son, today I have begotten you.’ ”
It should also be noted that nowhere in the Gospels does Jesus actually call himself “Son of God”. [10] Instead, he is recorded to have repeatedly called himself “Son of man” (e.g. Luke 9:22) innumerable times. And in Luke 4:4

The Scriptures proclaim the deity of Jesus in several ways.
A. The reaction of the people. Jesus forgave sins, which only God can do, in Matt. 9:1-8.
B. Jesus is given the same titles as the OT God (Yahweh or Jehovah).
He who is and who was and who is to come, a title given to the Father and the Son. See Rev. 1:4-5, 1:8.
First and the Last, Isa. 44:6, Rev. 1:17-18. There is only one God, but each Person of the Godhead is the First and the Last. also in Isa 44:6, you read of two Jehovahs, the First and the Last, and Jehovah the Redeemer, even though the passage says there is only one God. See also the titles of Jesus in Rev. 22:13—all are also given to Jehovah in the OT.
C. The Second Coming.
a. Jehovah says that He will come to Israel and dwell among them. Compare Zech. 2:10 with Rev. 22:12. We know in the NT that Jesus is the one we look to come. Jesus is called Jehovah, who is GOD!
b. In Zech. 14:3-4 we find Jehovah coming to make war and He will land on the Mount of Olives. This is Jesus, who comes to make war (Rev. 19) and to land on the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:9-12).
I hope this explains the verses that open up the deity of Jesus.

Adam was the God Yahweh's son but was created with no special non-human powers of the God that created him. Jesus on the other hand which God Himself tells us was born not from mankind's seed but God's and had all of God's non-human powers and knowledge of things past, present and in the future better then any other human on Earth. He also could see and communicate with the angels and demons and bring dead people including Himself back to life. Something normal humans like Adam and us can't do. So I don't think we need any more proof that Jesus was equal to His Father in every way.

It seems strange, doesn't it? However, the Bible talks about a veil that covers the eyes of unbelievers who do not accept God's righteousness but want to establish their own.
Actually, they are not any different than Islam that in the same manner stubbornly states that God has no sons. The Bible tells us that the angels are the primary sons of God. That Adam was a son of God.
How is the rejection of this important doctrine different from rejecting the other one? And, then there is the ransom -- than, also, Islam has rejected.
On my homepage (find at my profile) in the subjects 'Jesus the Man' and 'Jesus and Moses' there is proof for the above details.

NIV Matthew 28: 16-19
16. Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Peace and God bless.

John 10:30 I and [my] Father are one.
1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
It's the Trinity thing.

God theory has proved bogus. There is no God. Any discourse on it is waste of time. We can just say Jesus made an honest attempt like many others to find the spiritual solutions. And like many others came to wrong conclusions. We must ensure that spirituality and logic go hand in hand.

I understand your point exactly. Just Mohammed (excuse my spelling), or Guru Nanak or Lord Krishna, were mediators, so was Jesus. They are (at least to me) not god, but given certain divine knowledge, that they appear to be like one.
If a man bleeds and dies, he is a man. If a man does not bleed and cures all the sickness and greed from this earth, then, I might consider him be one. But Jesus himself, at so many times, as you said, as denied being a god, but a messenger. However, that distinction does not make him in anyway greater or less than other, divine messenger mentioned in you Koran and My Geeta.
To me, all came from the same god; it was MAN who gave labels and designations for his own selfish purpose. WHEN WILL HE UNDERSTAND, THAT WE ARE ALL, THE CREATION OF ONE HAND, AND THAT WE HAVE BEEN DIVIDED FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, BY MEN WHO COVET POWER. Surely, what was easier to say to illiterate people of that time, to gain members THAT OUR GOD IS GREATER THAN YOURS? This always make me laugh and at the same time sad, that people say, god made the sky, earth, and everything, why can't he say he also made us all equal in the eyes of our FATHER (WHAT EVER HE MAY BE CALLED.) ALTERNATIVELY, MOTHER. All religions at one point were one. They all worshipped the GODDESS.
GOD IS AN MEANS TO AN END TO POLITIONS, they use him EVERY WHERE!
Sorry for being so long. I get carried away.

I have a father, we are related. You're not very smart. How about the part of the Bible where a cloud enveloped Jesus and others and God said "This is my Son, with whom I am very pleased."
Those Bible passages mean that Jesus is the son of God.
