The International Red Cross/Red Crescent, Save the Children UK, OxFam -- all are excellent, credible, and adhere to very high standards. There is a list of various, credible organizations serving disaster areas, including areas affected by cyclone Sidr, at ReliefWeb.

the red cross. always stick with a well known organization, red cross, salvation army, catholic charities etc. got be real careful who you donate to these days. the red cross has always been there for people in need.
