i am so upset. i found condums in my moms drawer. i was looking for socks and she said top drawer. i looked in the other top drawer and it was going threw the socks looking for the ones to wear and i found a big pile of condoms! what does this mean! is she having sex! SHE DOESN'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND!

it is totally o.k!! you are lucky you found that than nothing at all, now you know your mom is having safe sex and not sex that can harm her! even though you may be in a tough position right now it is actually kind of good. i wish you luck and i hope that you can get through this. maybe your mom has a boyfriend and you don't know YET and she will tell you later on, maybe your mom just didn't want you to know. talk to your mom about it, even if it is a awkward subject....♥

My dear am sure you've got the wrong place to look for your socks. and specifically, you did not follow simple instructions from your mom. You should put in mind that our mom's room is a private room and restricted for minors without her authority and besides when she said at the top drawer it simply means not the other top drawer which you had made mistake of. But anyway, we are human and we always commit mistakes. As the saying goes in my country, " A carabao (buffalo) did commits mistakes when she even has four legs, how much more we, a human beings who had big brains and had only two legs." Of course, your mother had a sex but I think she got no boyfriend but your father. What she really cautious about is a preemptive measures that you will not be having a small brother yet at your very young age, Your mistakes are simple and forgivable offense. Honey, I know it's kind of gross to even imagine your mother having a sex life, but she IS an adult and even if she doesn't have a boyfriend, if one comes along, she's doing the right thing by being protected. I have a friend who has a daughter like you and she has to keep all of her men friends a secret from her daughter because she goes crazy with jealousy. Maybe you feel weirded out because it's YOUR mom and you wouldn't want her to have sex with anyone else but your father? Your mom wouldn't allow anyone to hurt you, ever. But she IS entitled to a love life.

She might have a girl friend who felt she should have sex and just gave them to her to encourage her to have some. Women do that sometimes - sometimes just in fun or because they think the other person is lonely.
If she was still with your dad, they would still use them unless they wanted more kids. If your dad is still around, they might still see each other sometimes if they are not seeing other people - even if they are not getting back together. They get lonely and people will sleep with their ex's sometimes until one or the other of them gets into another relationship - it is like a habit, they are comfortable with each other in that way, maybe no other way but that one. It beats looking for new boyfriends in bars, usually.

Sometimes when I go to the doctor they just give me condums, and they piled up then I gave them to a friend. I do not have a boyfriend either. best Wishes

Your Mom is an adult and you are too young to understand the lives some adults lead.Don't let this bother you as it isn't as bad as you think.Adults are still active in their sexual desires and if the occasion ever came up for her she will be prepared for protection.One day you will understand more about life and perhaps you could talk to your Mom about it.Tell her you just like you explained and mabe she can explain it better

Maybe your mom is seeing someone & isn't ready to share that info with you as yet. Aren't you proud of your mom for having condoms, if she is indeed seeing someone? You call the gross? Keep the info to yourself & if your mother discovers that you uncovered the condoms, she may have a talk with you & she may not. She is entitled to her privacy.

You should mind your business. Your mother might do have a boyfriend, at least she is respecting you by not bring him home in front of you. You shouldn't questions your mom-mom, she has needs to be met too.

She could be having casual sex, just be glad she is protecting herself from STD's. If there was a bunch of condoms it might mean that she is not having sex because they are not being used. Just be glad you didnt find a vibrator.
