Well, there is no such thing as "real" vampires, if you mean like the undead, Nosferatu, Dracula or Lestat. Anne Rice writes in vivid detail...but you do realize it's fiction. Right?
There are however a group of people...like uber-goths...who claim to be vampires, and they do drink blood, avoid the daylight etc. They have pasty white skin, dress in dark clothes and tend to have lots of tattoos and piercings too.
Some have had plastic dental surgery to make fangs. It is more of a religious cult or a personality disorder than anything else. It could also be considered a sexual fetish. There is alot of role play involved. There is also a connection to New Agers beliefs in energy fields (chi) and some believe they can take someones energy (psychic vampires) Or all of the preceeding.
Weird people like to hang out with other weird people who believe the same weird things. It makes them feel normal and superior to actual normal people, like me. I'm not sure about you.
so sure, you can drink somebodys blood, wear a cape and call yourself a vampire. But you will get old and die just the same as anybody else.

The closet you will ever get to being a vampire is always order you steaks very very rare. Some of you are not being a good influence on me, I'm becoming a real southern smart a-s. Actually this is a lot of fun.

There are not any ways to become a vampire. You must be born one. When we awaken to being a vampire we have what we call an awakening. An awakening means we are becoming aware of what we already are...you can have that if you are vampiric. You can not catch vampirism from a bite or a virus.

Not unless you know how to psychically drain a person of there life energy because that's what today's vampires do, in fact there are psychic vampires every where and many of them don't know that they are. These are the kinds of people that after hanging out with them for a little bit leave you completely drained of energy and fatigued the rest of the day.
