omg, im in the 8th and this boy i like who also likes me is in the 7th should i go out with him, or just forget it?!

no i won't, because i will feel more old if the person i like is younger than me but if you really love that person it won't matter if that person is younger than you or older than you.

It is not a big deal to like someone a whole year younger than you! Besides...dating for you is holding hands in the hall and walking to each others locker. Eating lunch at the same table and calling each other at night. its fun and its worth it while you have that innocence. Go for it.

Do you REALLY like him? Would you your friends and family be okay if you went out w/ him? If the answers are yes, then go ahead. You also should ask yourself if you would feel embarrassed if people saw you with him. That's what will REALLY be an influence on your decision. So do what you think is right.

He's only 18, I'm 22.
I never have before and I never thought I would.
But it's great and I like him better than I can ever remember liking another guy.

I would date someone younger, hell, I am trying to do it now, she is 2years younger than me, but I have a good feeling about it. I say go for it, the worse he could say is no.

As long as you'll be happy, why not. There's no harm in trying and just experience what comes along. It may not work but at least you have experience it.

love has no boundaries, if he likes you and you like him 1 year of difference is nothing. No couple are exact age lol. If he's worth your time go for it :)

If you like him date him. When I was in 11th, I dated this totally hot guy who was in 9th. It was fun while it lasted.

i'm in eigtht grade too, and my friend is too, and she dates a seventh grader. its not that much age difference, one year? dating a sixth grader is too far, but a seventh grader is more mature and they are cool too. one time on a trip that took hours to get too, I was stuck in a group of seventh graders, but had mad fun, and they are my friends now.
