I had a yellow female that bred with a black male and she had 14 pups in the litter. Eight of the pups were yellow and 6 were black. The black ones were all solid black. The yellow ones were varying shades from yellow to nearly white. So I suppose it would be possible for them to have a few hairs that are off color as they get older. Hope this info helps. Good luck to you.

Of course. If you really think that something is wrong, check with your vet, or call a friend that also has a lab or has experience with dogs. Luv ya lots!
