Well, I've just been reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. Before that I read "God is Not Great" by Christopher Hitchens. Before that, "The Dark Side" by Valerie Tarico, and "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris. This whole cycle started when I picked up a $1 used book called "Holy Terror" by Flo Conway and Jim Siegelman.
So I'm not convinced I could separate out all that material from some of the things I've read here, but perhaps the most intelligent things I have seen around here lately were recommendations to read one of these books.
For the record, I have read several other things having nothing to do with religion in the same chunk of time (a few months), and also some which are related in the course of preparing a presentation on "propaganda and brainwashing". One could gather that I'm something of a bookaholic, couldn't one?

I don't know about "the most intelligent," but the questions intended to lighten things up are fun to me. It gets tense around here.

The crackpots at this site remind me of a cartoon panel off of Asterix and Obelix when the fishmonger and the blacksmith go at it pokers and tongs.
