I hate to say it, but there is no nice way to tell someone that their body odor is offensive. No matter how tactful you are, it still has the potential to hurt.

If you know the person very well and have a good relationship, you could broach the subject by saying, "You know, I really value your friendship and I truly don't want to hurt your feelings, but I think you have the right to know about something. The smell you're giving off is not overly pleasing--are you feeling okay?" (Sometimes people smell bad because they haven't bathed due to depression. Even if this is not the case, showing an interest in them helps to ease the embarrassment of the situation.)

If you don't know the person very well, you might not want to say anything because it's likely to come across as a nosy stranger insulting them (even though that's not the case--I know that's how I'd feel if a stranger walked up to me and told me I stink.)

I think people that smeel are depressed and that means angry they are usuing ther odor to offend because they know it is customaly rude to say they stink
They are playing a game
Do not go along with it just say Hell youn POng , do something about it if you dont want everyone to hate you
That really is thier motivation !!!! to get people to hate them !!!

First talk to them about general hygiene. Like if your taking a class on it maybe they'll get a clue. Next if that doesnt work talk to them about there problem and offer them stufff like deo and what not. Its hard but do you want them to get hurt cuz they stink and nobody wants to be around them? think about it.

Just say "Man I took such a long shower this morning my mom totally busted me for it!
How long does it take you to take a shower?"
Then the person looks all embarassed, makes up some fake number and next morning they take a super long shower and purposefully be a little late to school and when u causually ask why they'll say proudly how long they took a shower. Works every time!!!

I had this problem one time with a guy friend. I got the conversation started one night listing things we like and don't like, and I told him I didn't like people who smell. Maybe that will throw out the hint.

Say: You have an interesting aroma, what is it, Eau de Urinoir? (You need to smile at the same time).

when you next see that person go in to the loo, you go, get your handbag out pull out your deodrant, and spray look at the person when they are washing their hands, say" bought this today, not my usual brand, want to smell spray on hands, then spray your arm-pits, then pass it over, say go on spray some, i want to spray some more if they refuse, say, okay, but rumour has it in the office that you smell, and some feel sick, i offered my help, to stop the gossip.
