Disagree if by scripture you mean the Holy Bible.
An illuminated man or woman lives by the scriptures of the Bible.

I would disagree. The Bible does affirm that GOD's handiwork can be seen everywhere. However, the Bible does speak of other things. The Bible points to the ONE who saves us from our wretchedness, among other things. It's clear that the Bible is of GREAT use, even to the illumined man or woman.
