As stated in the Qur'an,God has given the life guide to the followers of Islam.This life guide should be practised in dailly life,so Islam has given much contribution to the world such as:
1)the knowledge of haram(not allowed) and halal(allowed)foods and drinks as a chalenge for humans to dig out why those stuffs are prohibited (see Al Baqarah)
2)the knowledge of fasting for the health and strong control oemotion (see Al Baqarah)
3)the law of war which should treat well the prisoner of war (see Al Baqarah)
4)the knowledge of syara law for alcoholic drink,gambling,raising orphans,marriage and divorcelaw, and inheritance law (see Al Baqarah see also An Nisaa for marriage law)the principles)
5)the knowledge how to use wealth in line with God's life guide (see Al Baqarah)
6)the lnowlegde how to maintain unity and peace (see Ali Imran)
7)the knowledge about prohibition to give and to earn riba (abnormal interest) and the prohibition to be stingy for protecting the economic weak person (see Ali Imran)
8)the basic principles of inheroitance law (see An Nisaa)
9)the principles of fair government including the tactic in islamic war (see An Nisaa)
10)the instruction how to maintain the truthhonesty and fairness(justice)see An Nisaa and Al Maa-idah

for starters, it took those who used to bury their daughters out of ignorance and made them the best people on the surface of the earth because of their conduct characters morals and behavior. it set a standard for all human beings to follow. not to love someone(besides parents) too much because they might turn against you, and not to some one too much cuz they might help you. to be moderate in spending, not to waste, look into the quran and sunnah, and youll find most of it is about how to live daily life. the rituals of eid, prayer and fasting are less mentioned than are conduct and morals

Here's what I did: I went to Google, I typed the words "Islam" and "contributions". Lo and behold! I got a huge list of all sorts of topics: arts, science, medicine, technology, and so on. Try it -- you'll be amazed!
