Just some ideas:
--This may be more literal than you might think. Do you snack or eat a lot before bedtime? Do you drink a lot of carbonated soft drinks before bedtime? Either one of those can end up giving you heartburn, gas and reflux in your sleep (because you're no longer sitting up), which your dreaming mind then interprets as trying to throw up.
So try to avoid eating and drinking stuff for 2 hours before bedtime, see if that helps.
--If it's not a literal digestive problem....there may be something going on in your life that you personally find disturbing or disgusting, something that *makes you want to puke*, but you can't express your disgust properly while awake. Maybe it's something your friend does, and you tolerate it to keep your friend a friend. Maybe it's something a family member does, and you can't really say anything.
Point is, if the feeling of disgust and the desire is there...and you don't deal with it, it becomes "garbage" information that the brain has to take out during its housecleaning at night, when you dream.
--Or...on an even less literal level still. This could be something similar in nature to a dream of losing your teeth, or a dream of bedwetting. The theme of your dream could be "loss of control" and that throwing up is your personal private sign that you've "lost it" and are scared because you *don't* have control. You might be worried about getting sick, or failing at something, or just about making a mistake and losing control of a situation that you feel you *need* to keep your control of.
These are just my humble opinions though. I hope this does get you to thinking about this stuff though, in terms of solving the problem. ^_^ Dreams should be more pleasant than this....
Hope this helps. ^_^

Throwing up in your dreams means that there are some issues in your real life that you are trying to accept, but you can't come to grips with them. So, you just keep rejecting the acceptance of these issues.

I don't know because I'm not a dream interpreter, but is something in your life upsetting you? They say that many of our dreams are due to things that lie deep in our subconscious mind.

Are you doing something that you really don't want to do. This dream is telling you that you are "poisioning yourself". It is saying that it is time to re-evaluate things so you can do what's right for your own well being and best interests.

To dream that you are vomiting, indicates that you need to reject or discard an aspect of your life that is revolting. There are some emotions or concepts that you need to confront and then let go.

You have something you want to purge from your system.
Perhaps something mental? Stress?
