i dont get it. if you believe in God and Jesus why are you so scared to let other people know? you should be strong and let the whole world know that you love jesus and that hes your savior.

I totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Lord Jesus! He is my Savior! The term Jesus Freak is based on a person being a freak. I do not consider myself a freak, but a lover of my Lord Jesus! You could call me a Jesus lover! Maybe an extreme Jesus Lover! But just because a person loves Jesus does not mean they are freaks! I am really a very nice average person, (most of the time)! Nothing freaky about me.....except the way I love chocolate ice cream!

Fact is they dont really believe but only repeat what has been washed into their brains.
Jesus never reaches the heart but is a head thing that short circuits from mouth to ear to nostril.

The term Jesus freak has taken on a negative connotation by non-believers. So that's why a lot of Believers don't use that term to describe themselves.
As far as why don't more and more people admit they are Jesus Lovers, it could be they care what other people think, don't want to get rejected by others, or are not willing to risk getting verbally shot down and ridiculed by others. That's my anlysis!

As a Christian, I am not proud of that song or to be termed a freak.
I am a child of God. God's creation are not freaks, but heirs in Christ.
I am not ashamed of Jesus, never will for what He did. But if we are to be glory bearers of Christ, I believe then Jesus isn't a freak, either. We represent Jesus on earth.

Well that is easy to answer they are scared of how people will react and they aren't strong enough in their faith yet or they just don't want to . I am afraid I am a Jesus freak and I love it!:)
